The third national training seminar envisaged by the european project Good Wood and organized by Confapi with Fillea-Cgil was held on 9 October in webinar mode on the Zoom platform and entitled 'Training as a tool to promote changes in the organization, in production and in the business management of companies in the wood sector '. The project sees Confapi as the leader within a partnership that includes three other countries, Belgium, Portugal and Bulgaria.

The initiative saw the participation of representatives of companies, trade unions and italian project partners and has been an opportunity to raise the awareness of employers and entrepreneurs on the issues of circular economy and sustainable development.

Confapi presented the project in its objectives, in its aims and in the state of the activities underlining its value of joint work.

The Guglielmo Tagliacarne institute presented the results of the research activity conducted during the project and offered an overview of the European transition strategy to a green economy with a focus on the New Green Deal of the European Commission.

The final panels of the seminar have been characterized by a reflection on european opportunities for social dialogue, by an overview of the role of trade unions in promoting training in the era of the green economy, and by the prospects that the project has offered and will be able to offer once it is concluded.
